The 4th installment of the UFC on Fox hit the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on August 4th, 2012 and packed it with 16,080 people to watch a ten bout card ready to blow the roof off. Full results below.

John Moraga def. Ulysses Gomez by KO at 3:46 of round number 1

Manny Gamburyan def. Michihro Omigawa by (29-28) (29-28) (30-27) Unanimous Decision

Phil De Fries def. Oil Thompson by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:15 of round number 2

Rani Yahya def. Josh Grispi by Submission (North-South Choke) at 3:15 of round number 1

Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado is a No Contest due to Eye Poke in round number 1

Nam Phan def. Cole Miller by (29-28) (28-29) (29-28) Split Decision

Mike Swick def. demarques Johnson by KO at 1:20 of round number 2

Joe Lauzon def. Jamie Varner by Submission (Triangle Choke) at 2:44 of round number 3

Lyoto Machida def. Ryan Bader by KO at 1:32 of round number 2

Mauricio Rua def. Brandon Vera by TKO at 4:09 of round number 4

All post fight bonuses were $50,00 for UFC on Fox 4.

Mike Swick earned Knockout of the Night award.

Jamie Varner and Joe Lauzon together for there war earn the Fight of the Night.

Joe Lauzon also earns the Submission of the Night award.

The finishes came quick and often with every warrior that took the cage showing heart, determination and skill. The biggest winner of the night with his one punch KO is Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida who will get  a UFC Light Heavyweight title shot at the winner of Jon “Bones” Jones vs Dan “Hendo” Henderson bout at UFC 151 September 1st, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay event center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Machida definitely show that “The Dragon” is still breathing fire. The second biggest winner is Joe Lauzon with three victories winning the fight and two post fight bonuses. Mike Swick came back from injury and two years away to triumph over adversity. The winners also can include tonight the UFC, Fox Network, and the fans.
