The first Invicta event was a historic night of fights. The second did not disappoint, with furious action and finishes just as quick and often. Invicta FC on the technical side did have a happy set back to start off the night as there Internet sever got overloaded from too much traffic. The popularity, fan base, and social media buzz just proves to any naysayer that women’s MMA is in demand, a sell able entity, and on the rise.

The women of MMA have their own spotlight to shine on and from the 1st two events the hole promotion is shining like gold. Speaking of gold Shannon Knapp announced that world ranked #1  at Atomweight Naho Sugiayama (8-0) will face world ranked #2 Jessica Pene (9-1) at Invicta FC 3 for the First Ever Invicta FC Atomweight Champion, on October 3rd.
