One of the oldest established, and most respected, martial arts academies inAlbuquerque, Grand Master Chavez has been training fighters in the same location for over 38 years. Family run and teaching all ages, with a focus on youth, the academy trains 350-400 men, women, and children at any given time. Featuring Karate, Kickboxing, Escrima, Muay Thai, and Kajukembo (a Hawaiian style of Karate first brought to theUSin 1950) – this is truly a mixed martial arts school.
The Academy also trains competitive fighters from all over the world as well as his two daughters – MMA professionals, Margarita & Angelica Chavez. He has been involved with 16 world champion kickboxers, 4 world champion Muay Thai fighters, and 3 WBC Champion boxers; with a goal of producing a world champion MMA fighter.
