Hector “Macho” Camacho Passes Away

Hector “Macho” Camacho has died at the age of 50 after being shot in a drive by in his native Puerto Rico.

On Tuesday November 20, 2012 while in the passenger seat of a parked car, another car drove up and opened fire. Camacho was shot in the face and neck. Camacho was taken to the hospital and would stay on life support until Saturday November 24, 2012 when his family decide to pull the plug and Camacho passed away not long after.

Hector “Macho” Camacho went (79-6-3) during his time in the ring. Camacho won Titles in 3 different weight classes Super Featherweight, Lightweight, and Junior Welterweight. Camacho started off his career with 21 consecutive victories and finished having 38 wins by TKO/KO. Camacho retired for the final time after a unanimous decision loss to Saul Duran in May of 2010.
