What has boxing done for you and means to you?

“It has done a lot for me actually. It’s kept me off the street, from getting in trouble. Now I think ‘I got to feed my family so I got to take some fights.’ That’s why I’ve taken a lot of these fights that aren’t really at the weight I should be fighting at but the money is good. Great opportunities and I’m still living my dream as a fighter, and that no one ever thought that I would ever fight. Three amateur fights that’s pretty much it, but I still want to prove to myself that I can still bang with those big top guys and would like to do that at 140 lbs.”

Wins and losses that have happened, what the single greatest thing you learned? Just it’s all experience and then with the last fight to like they gave me ten ounce gloves and I didn’t want those they were supposed to use eight ounce gloves but they made the fight at ten ounce gloves I guess. So I had no pull over that, but I’m not a big puncher especially at that weight division. But at 140lbs I’m a, I think I’ve stopped everybody that I fought under 147lbs. So it will be good I’ll be ready and my power will be there.
