Knuxx had a chance to talk with Lynae Lovato before her big fight tomorrow at Jackson’s MMA Series IX. Check out the interview below..
How are you feeling?
“Feeling good, I’m ready to get it over with. It’s been a long fight camp and ready to go fight.”
Is there extra excitement fighting at home?
There’s always extra excitement and a little extra pressure, it’s why we do it.
Not being in the ring/cage for a year how do you feel it will affect you?
“It can’t affect me negatively; I’ve trained too hard for it to have any type of negative effect on me. It hasn’t been by choice, I’ve tried to pick up fights, short notice fights or people pull out so it hasn’t been by choice and I’ve been training year around.”
What has the hardship been like, has it added to the motivation of how you want to perform when you get back in action, having had these let downs?
“Oh yeah and I’ve changed a lot of things from last year, coaches and I brought in some new training partners, so I’m a totally different fighter from where I was last year.”
