Following the press conference to announce Johnny Tapia Presents The Next Chapter 3 we caught up with Team Tapia member Adrian Lopez who will be facing Ricky Villafuerte at The Next Chapter 3 on March 30th at the Crowne Plaza 1901 University Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
MF: Can you share some thoughts with us on your opponent and much how much do you know about him?
AL: I hope he’s tough. For the tattoos that he has he seems tough, looks like he would be tough but you know how tattoos are – they just lie. I really don’t know who he is and I never seen him fight so hopefully he’s pretty good because I like to put on a good show for the people. But if you can’t’ take my punches you can’t blame anybody on that.
MF: You’ve been on the sideline for a little bit, what have you been doing to keep busy?
AL: I still go to the gym and make sure I train every day. I just got to cut a little bit of weight and make sure I walk away with the win.
