A highly touted young prospect will meet a combats sports vet in the ring at Johnny Tapia Present the Next Chapter 3 on March 30, 2013, when Warrior’s Academy’s Christian Cabral collides with FIT NHB’s Donald Sanchez. Recently we had the chance to ask Christian Cabral how he felt about the upcoming match-up.
MF: How you feeling Christian?
CC: I’m feeling great, ready to take him out.
MF: Since your last fight being a draw; you took about 5 months off. How you feeling now after the time off?
CC: I’m feeling good. I’m in good shape. I’m ready to go 6 rounds even 8. Not scared not nothing; just ready, confident.
MF: We know Donald he has a big reputation got any thoughts on the fight or any thoughts on things people have been saying about the fight?
CC: I don’t know they been saying I’m not ready, but let’s see this isn’t an MMA fight this is a boxing fight. Its two different things you know. He has frothy fights in MMA, that doesn’t bother me because that’s in their sport. It doesn’t matter to me.
