On April 28th Triple A MMA “Win To Get In” takes place at the Spanish Village inside of Expo New Mexico. In the main event Ronnie “Great” White takes on Felipe “Flip” Chavez. I recently headed to Lovato’s Total Fitness to get some thoughts on the upcoming fight form Ronnie White.

MF: Thank you for the time Ronnie and how you feeling?

RW: I’m feeling amazing how you doing today.

MF: I’m great. You and Felipe Chavez main event what are the thoughts and feelings.

RW: The thought is that it’s going to be an explosive fight. I don’t see the fight lasting very long. We’re both aggressive fighters and we both like to finish fights. I’m sure there is going to be a knockout or something amazing happening on April 28th, for sure.

MF: April 28th, it’s on a Sunday and it’s a special event with a early start time and fighting during the day, do you think that’s going to do anything different to your timing of your body getting ready for the fight?

RW: No actually I fought outside my last fight; I actually like it. It’s good to get that fresh air into your lungs and I feel that my cardio is better outside. I like the fact that it’s going to be outside. It’s going to be a nice day, or is supposed be. So, come on out there and check out the fights.

MF: We’re here at Lovato’s Total Fitness, how long have you been working your MMA game here?

RW: I been here for 6 months now and it’s been amazing. I’ve transformed my whole fight game. I’m not even the same fighter I was 6 months ago. I mean working out well with national wrestling champions like Deshawn Brown (and) working with NAGA Heavyweight champion Josh “Big Country” Lanier. I mean we got jiu jitsu, wrestling, out stand up is amazing here working with K-1 fight David Archuleta.
