We at Knuxx are proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with Jackson’s/Winkeljohns Mixed Martial Artist Hunter Tucker. This sponsorship comes as we at Knuxx are growing by the day and wish to capitalize on our growth and become the premiere source for local combat sports communities.

Hunter went 4-0 as an amateur before making his pro debut on June 24, 2011. In his pro debut he finished Kyle Kelley via TKO at 2:27 of the opening round. In his second pro bout he finished Freddie Crosby via Guillotine choke at 2:28 of the second round. Hunter is coming off an impressive victory over JR Sotelo at Jackson’s MMA Series VIII on June 2, 2012. Hunter finished Sotelo via Guillotine choke in just two minutes and seven seconds of the very first round. Riding a 3-fight win streak and having finished all of his opponents as a pro, Hunter is now preparing to step into the cage with “Nasty” Nate Patterson who is currently on a 2-fight win streak. The 145lb Featherweight bout is set for September 8, 2012 at Jackson’s MMA Series IX. Jackson’s MMA Series IX, Presented by The Downs Racetrack & Casino, will be held on September 8th at 7:00PM MST at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Jackson’s MMA Series has become the premiere MMA fight promotion in the Southwest and has launched multiple fighters to the next level. Jackson’s MMA Series veterans include TUF 14 Featherweight Champion Diego Brandao and TUF 14 Veteran Johnny Bedford. In addition, multiple series fighters have been signed by Zuffa for either the UFC or Strikeforce including Henry Martinez, Julie Kedzie, Isaac Valle-Flagg, Lionel Lanham, Willie Parks, and Sarah D’Alelio.

Hunter Tucker is one of the five great fighters we now sponsor including “Hurricane” Hector Munoz, Josh “Pitbull” Torres, William H. Fauth, and Bullfighter Patrick Harrison. I also have a few more fighters awaiting finalization that will soon be announced.

I would like to thank all our fighters and the Knuxx community for making this possible. Knuxx is growing larger every day and we couldn’t have done it without the support that we get from the local fight community and all of our awesome readers!
