The largest promotion in the southeast, United states Extreme Fighting championships, have decided to head west for XFC 25 which will take place on September 6 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Chavez Dojo fighters Angelica Chavez (4-2) and 2012 open try outs winner Joby Sanchez (4-1) are both expected to be in action; as too is Jackson/Winkeljohns fighter Landon Vannata (1-0).
Angelcia Chavez was expected to debut at XFC 23 against Stephanie Skinner, but Chavez ended up pulling out of the fight because of injury. Chavez will be looking to snap a two fight win streak having been on the losing end of decisions too Diana Rael and Nicdali Rivera-Calonoc.
Joby Sanchez has won 4 fights in a row since a pro debut KO loss to Ronnie White, including a XFC 20 submission win over Chirtopher Dunn. Sanchez is expected to compete at Flyweight in his next contest.
Landon Vannata stopped Adrian Apodaca by TKO in his pro debut and 11 months later is still looking for his second pro fight. Vannata who went to the most recent XFC open Try out was able to impress enough to get a one fight deal.
