After the Bellator 91 weigh-in we had the chance to catch up with “Ill” Will Brooks and ask him about Thursday’s tournament semifinal against Saad Awad .
MF: Looks like a slightly rough weight cut you had to use the towel, how you feeling now?
WB: I feel good! The weight cut wasn’t that bad, I’ve had worse.
MF: Tomorrow night is a big fight, how do you like the tournament format?
WB: It’s cool, it’s a nice way to get right back in and there’s not a long break so you don’t have to sit around waiting and wondering when your next fight is. I like the way they’re doing it because it puts you on a fast pace to become a champion, and I want to be one.
